For CHINT ANNENG — the parent company of CHINT PVSTAR — social responsibility, especially in children’s education, has always been a core priority.
In partnership with the CHINT Charity Foundation, the company has launched a new milestone initiative: the “Chasing the Light” Reading Corner at the Seventh Primary School in Qiandao Lake Town, Zhejiang Province, China.
This project goes beyond simple book donations by creating dedicated learning spaces that integrate reading, hands-on technology, and sustainability. It shifts from basic support to true empowerment, offering rural students both material resources and meaningful intellectual growth — a more focused and sustainable model of educational philanthropy.
Unveiling of the "Chasing the Light" Reading Corner
At the unveiling ceremony of the “Chasing the Light” Reading Corner, Wang Qi, Secretary-General of the CHINT Charity Foundation, said, “A school is where dreams begin, and reading and exploration give children the wings to understand the world and reach for broader horizons.” He added, “The CHINT Charity Foundation has long been committed to supporting the education and development of children in rural areas. We hope the ‘Chasing the Light’ Reading Corner will help connect their present world with the futures they imagine.”
Liu Shengbin, General Manager of CHINT ANNENG’s Brand Marketing Center, noted, “Residential photovoltaics do more than power households — they also allow us to share warmth and create social value through public welfare. We will continue to expand the ‘Reading Corner’ program to more rural schools and advance our donation initiatives so that children can grow with confidence and make a meaningful impact on the world.”
After the remarks, the “Chasing the Light” Reading Corner was officially opened. A student representative from the Seventh Primary School shared, “This gift is a window into the future. It shows us that knowledge lives not only in books but also in the technology around us — and that care comes from more than just our families; it also comes from the kindness of the community.”
Interactive Solar Power Learning Experience
After the donation ceremony, a special "photovoltaic lesson" was held, offering an exciting hands-on experience for the children. A CHINT ANNENG instructor introduced the concept of electricity using fun experiments and easy-to-understand language. Questions such as "How does sunlight turn into electricity?" and "How does a solar panel light up a lamp?" sparked eager participation from the student.
This interactive public welfare initiative not only breaks the boundaries of traditional education, making knowledge "come alive," but also supplements and extends conventional learning through exploration and hands-on practice. It offers a fresh pathway for the diversified development of educational philanthropy.
Notably, the "Chasing the Light" Reading Corner is equipped with CHINT ANNENG’s "Tai Shu Wang Yun" balcony photovoltaic system. This innovative addition does more than just provide clean electricity for the reading space—it also serves as a tangible example of green energy, making it an educational tool that brings renewable energy to life for the children.
A Continued Commitment to Education and Rural Development
CHINT ANNENG and the CHINT Charity Foundation remain deeply committed to advancing educational opportunities for children in rural communities. This initiative reflects our belief that meaningful public welfare requires long-term dedication and practical outcomes.
Looking ahead, CHINT ANNENG will continue supporting rural development and the transition to green, low-carbon energy by strengthening industry collaboration and expanding public welfare initiatives. Through these efforts, we hope to create a broader, lasting impact in both education and sustainable development across rural areas.
