At the 2025 ESG China Innovation Annual Conference and the First ESG International Expo, the Corporate Supply Chain ESG Management Standard — a new group standard co-drafted by CHINT, parent group of CHINT ANNENG and CHINT PVSTAR — was officially released.
Before: the industry lacked a unified, operable ESG supply chain standard
Before this release, the industrial enterprises faced fragmented requirements, inconsistent supplier expectations, and rising global ESG compliance pressure. Companies often struggle to evaluate supply chain risks, respond to overseas regulatory changes, or align with international sustainability benchmarks.
Now: CHINT helps deliver China’s first complete ESG supply chain framework
As one of the core initiators and contributors, CHINT transformed its long-standing sustainability practices into a national-level reference, helping create China’s first comprehensive supply chain ESG management standard.
Backed by its mature three-level ESG governance system — involving the Board of Directors, Strategy and Sustainability Committee, and Sustainability Office — CHINT injected practical experience, measurable indicators, and real-world management methods into the standard.
This new framework provides clear requirements for implementation across procurement, production, supplier evaluation, and risk control — offering Chinese enterprises a systematic and actionable roadmap for ESG supply chain governance.
Industry Impact: A higher benchmark led by CHINT
The new standard offers companies a structured guideline aligned with global regulatory trends, helping them:
reduce ESG-related trade barriers,
avoid liabilities arising from supplier violations, and
build transparent, responsible, and resilient supply chains.
By establishing operable tools for risk identification and continuous improvement, CHINT has helped raise the baseline for ESG practices across China’s manufacturing ecosystem.
CHINT is not only a contributor — it also a long-term enabler
Beyond drafting work, CHINT actively promotes industry adoption.
The company has joined the China Supplier ESG Rating Platform and collaborates closely with partners through:
supplier conferences,
on-site training programs,
ESG capability-building workshops, and
targeted support mechanisms.
These initiatives help suppliers strengthen environmental management, improve energy efficiency, and accelerate renewable energy adoption — fostering a greener, more responsible industrial chain.
Accumulated influence: Turning practice into national standards
CHINT has repeatedly contributed its sustainability expertise to industry-wide frameworks, co-developing major guidelines such as:
Evaluation Guidelines for Corporate ESG Reports
Jiang-Hai Plastic Recycling Certification Standard
Corporate Carbon Neutrality Roadmap Action Report Guidelines
Looking Forward: CHINT continues to lead, elevate, and empower
As a supply chain anchor enterprise, CHINT will continue advancing responsible business practices and driving collaborative governance.
By transforming enterprise experience into industry progress, CHINT is helping shape a greener, more transparent, and more resilient future — for China and for global sustainable development.
