CHINT Group, the parent company of CHINT ANNENG and CHINT PVSTAR, has been officially named to the 2025 Fortune China ESG Impact List, a prestigious ranking that recognizes only 100 companies nationwide for exceptional contributions to environmental stewardship, employee well-being, responsible governance, and community development.

This year’s honorees represent leading enterprises across renewable energy, manufacturing, technology, finance, and healthcare — including global giants such as Haier, CATL, Sony, and IKEA. Being listed alongside these world-class companies marks a powerful affirmation of CHINT’s long-term ESG commitment and industry influence.

With over 40 years of innovation and expertise, CHINT has consistently integrated sustainability into its business strategy, advancing low-carbon transformation, scaling green manufacturing, and promoting the adoption of clean energy worldwide. Through scenario-based solutions and expanding energy ecosystems, CHINT continues to deliver measurable environmental impact, while contributing to a more sustainable global future.

Leadership in Renewable Energy and ESG Integration

For decades, CHINT has been a key player in the renewable energy sector, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into every stage of its industry chain. Its "2030 Sustainable Development Strategy" outlines eight key objectives, including addressing climate change, advancing clean technologies, promoting a circular economy, ensuring sustainable product governance, investing in human capital, strengthening supply chain sustainability, and upholding corporate governance and business ethics.

CHINT Group’s ESG Leadership Backed by Strong Results and Tangible Impact

CHINT’s inclusion on the 2025 Fortune China ESG Impact List is supported by measurable, industry-leading achievements that demonstrate the company’s real contribution to the green transition.

In the green energy sector, CHINT now delivers more than 79.2 billion kWh of clean electricity each year — cutting an estimated 65 million tons of carbon emissions annually. At its manufacturing bases in Xuzhou and Jiuquan, China, CHINT has also reached a major milestone: 100% renewable energy consumption and full carbon offset, achieved through a combination of self-built solar power plants, green energy procurement, and certified carbon credits. Both sites have been designated as “Zero-Carbon Factories,” turning innovative energy solutions into verifiable ecological gains.

CHINT’s progress extends beyond individual projects to the broader industry ecosystem. In supply chain management, the company is building a sustainable value-chain model centered on a fully digital procurement platform. By 2030, CHINT targets integrating 85% of its suppliers into its sustainable procurement system, ensuring that 90% of key suppliers pass sustainability evaluations, and requiring 100% of major suppliers to commit to — and achieve — carbon-reduction goals.

These initiatives not only accelerate decarbonization across the energy industry but also establish a scalable, replicable blueprint for sustainable supply-chain governance, reinforcing CHINT’s position as a leading driver of green transformation.

This transition from innovative projects to broader ecological impact is also reflected in CHINT’s efforts to reshape the industry value chain. In supply chain management, the company uses a digital procurement platform as a hub to create a sustainable management ecosystem. By 2030, CHINT aims to include 85% of its suppliers in its sustainable procurement system, ensure 90% of key suppliers pass sustainability assessments, and have 100% of major suppliers commit to and achieve carbon reduction targets. This strategy will not only drive carbon reduction across the industry but also offer a replicable model for sustainable supply chain management.

Social Responsibility and Rural Revitalization

CHINT is advancing rural revitalization through its flagship “PV+” initiative, which integrates clean energy development with rural economic growth. To date, the company has built more than 800 wind and solar power stations worldwide and installed over 1.8 million residential solar systems, helping farmers generate stable additional income while supporting nearly 200,000 new jobs in rural communities.

By combining clean energy, ecological restoration, and rural development, CHINT is pioneering a new model in which commercial success and social impact reinforce each other. These projects not only expand access to clean power but also empower rural households to participate directly in the green economy.

CHINT’s approach reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility. Rather than treating CSR as an afterthought, CHINT has embedded inclusive development, rural support, and environmental stewardship into its core corporate values, ensuring that its growth contributes meaningfully to broader societal progress.

Global Vision for Sustainable Development

CHINT continues to advance its global sustainability agenda as a proud member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) since 2021, actively supporting all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Looking ahead, the company will further strengthen its green energy solutions, smart grid technologies, and carbon-reduction innovations, contributing to a global shift toward a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
Nan Cunhui, Chairman of CHINT Group, emphasized the company’s long-term mission:
“A company’s true value lies in creating a sustainable future for humanity. CHINT will rise to the challenge through technological innovation and work to set a global example for energy transition.”
With this commitment, CHINT aims to play a leading role in shaping the next chapter of global sustainable development—where innovation, responsibility, and shared prosperity move the world toward a better future
